Insurance
We accept most insurance plans including Healthy Smiles and NIHB. If you have an insurance plan, and they will provide payment to us directly, we will gladly submit your clam to your insurance for payment. Payment for your portion (rarely does an insurance plan cover the 100% of treatment) is expected as soon as we know what that amount is.
If your insurance company’s payment is directed back to you, then we will accept payment from you at the time of your appointment and still send in your claim to them on your behalf. They will then reimburse you directly.
We are unable to write off the difference after the insurance payment because that is considered defrauding the insurance company.
If you wish, we would be pleased to provide a predetermination/ estimate for your insurance company. This will allow you to plan your finances for when the insurance company lets you know what coverage you do have. Our doctor diagnoses your clinical needs, regardless of the coverage you may or may not have with your insurance company.
Financial Expectations
Full payment is due at each appointment. We accept payment in the form of cash, cheque, debit or credit card and e-transfers.
Treatment Planning
We would be pleased to provide you with an estimate of your treatment plan so that there are never any surprises. We want to make sure you know all your options. We want to know what your dental health goals are, and how we may help you attain them.
Cancellations
Our office does require two business day’s notice to change a reserved appointment, or a rescheduling fee of $40.00 may apply. While we do have an answering machine for when the office is closed, please be advised that our answering machine does not accept changes to the existing schedule. Please call during regular business hours so that we may personally assist you.
